Description

The objective of this course is to introduce the student to the field insurance premium audit as it relates to workers compensation policies.

There are 8 modules in this course.  Each module will vary in the amount of time to complete each one.  The course in its entirety should take approximately 10 hours.

By the end of this course, you should have a basic understanding of the necessary fundamentals needed in order to enter the Premium Audit field. 

 

 

Objectives

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Read and understand Workers Compensation insurance policies
  • Understand the various records needed to complete a Workers Comp audit
  • Schedule and prepare for the audit
  • Conduct the audit with the policyholder
  • Properly document your findings as you write up your audit

Course Extension Policy

Plan for enough time to study: You will have 60 days to finish your initial course. Your virtual classroom is an alternative to the physical classroom. It is not a way to avoid the required labor of hours of study. Be sure to finish your course before the course expiration date. 

 


Refund Policy

An e-mail requesting a withdrawal and refund must be received within 24 hours after issuance of registration at afirmtraining@afirmsolutions.com (No Exceptions). Non-attendance does not constitute a refund request (not logging in does not make a student eligible for a refund).  If a refund is provided, a $5 administrative fee will be subtracted from the cost of the course.  Refunds may take 5-10 days to show up on your statement.
